Protecting sensitive information is a critical aspect of operating any aviation maintenance and repair environment. Our system is designed to provide the highest possible level of security to safeguard your company’s operational data, records, and user activity. However, system security is a shared responsibility. One of the most important measures each user must take is creating a strong and secure password.
When a new user is created in the system, a generic temporary password is automatically assigned by our support team. For security reasons, this temporary password must be changed upon the user’s first login. This mandatory step ensures that only authorized individuals can access the system and that confidential information remains protected at all times.
To maintain the integrity and security of the system, all users must follow the password requirements outlined below, which are designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.
Password Requirements:
- The new password must include a minimum of 12 characters.
- The new password must contain at least one uppercase letter and one lowercase letter.
- The new password must contain at least one number.
- The new password must contain at least one special character (for example: !, @, #, $, %).
Failure to meet these requirements will prevent the password from being updated. We strongly recommend creating a unique password that is not used in any other system and avoiding easily guessable information such as names, dates, or common words.
By adhering to these guidelines, you help ensure a secure working environment and contribute to the overall protection of your company’s data within the system.
For greater security, we also recommend implementing two-factor authentication.
