Embedded Inventory

Embedded Inventory lets you display your parts inventory directly on your own company website. Instead of keeping your stock list locked inside Smart 145, you can publish a live, searchable catalog that your website visitors can browse at any time — and request a quote on the spot.

The catalog stays in sync with Smart 145 automatically, so what visitors see always reflects your current inventory. There's nothing to export, upload, or keep up to date by hand.

Key benefits

  • Turn your website into a sales channel. Visitors can find the parts you have in stock and send you a Request for Quote (RFQ) without picking up the phone.

  • No web developer required. Once it's set up, your inventory appears on your site through a small snippet your web team adds one time.

  • You control what's shown. Choose which details appear — part number, description, condition, quantity available, price, and product images.

  • On-brand. The catalog can be styled to match your website's colors and look.

  • Always current. The displayed inventory reflects your live Smart 145 data.

What it looks like for your visitors

  • A clean, searchable list of your parts, shown as a table or a grid.

  • Optional search so visitors can quickly find a specific part.

  • A simple "Request a Quote" flow — visitors add the parts they're interested in and submit a request.

  • Requests come straight back into Smart 145, where your team can follow up and turn them into quotes.

Good to know

  • Incoming quote requests land in your Smart 145 RFQ inbox alongside your other customer quotes.

  • To cut down on spam, visitors confirm their request by email before it reaches your team, and optional bot protection can be enabled.

  • You decide whether the inventory is visible right away or only after a visitor searches.

Want to enable this? Your Smart 145 administrator can turn on and configure Embedded Inventory from your account settings. Reach out to your administrator or the Smart 145 team to get started.
