Webhooks let Smart 145 automatically notify your other business systems the moment something happens — for example, when a work order is created or an RFQ comes in. Instead of logging in to check for updates, Smart 145 sends the information to a destination you choose, in real time.
Think of a webhook as an automatic "push" message: an event happens in Smart 145, and a tidy summary of that event is delivered to the system you nominate — such as an automation tool (like Zapier or n8n), a reporting system, or your own internal application.
Key benefits
Real-time integration. Connected systems are updated as events happen — no manual exports and no constant checking.
Automate your workflows. Trigger downstream actions automatically, such as posting to a chat channel, updating a CRM, or kicking off an automation.
Choose exactly what you're notified about. Subscribe only to the events that matter to your business.
Reliable delivery. If a destination is temporarily unavailable, Smart 145 retries automatically, and you can see the delivery history.
What you can be notified about
Webhooks cover a wide range of business events across Smart 145, including:
Work Orders — created and updated
Requests for Quote (RFQs) — created, updated, and removed
Quotes, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, and more — additional events can be enabled as needed
Each notification is sent as a structured message containing the key details of the event, so the receiving system knows exactly what happened and when.
Good to know
Secure delivery. You can require the receiving system to authenticate, and your credentials are stored securely.
Flexible content. The information included in each notification can be tailored to match what the receiving system expects.
Full visibility. A delivery log shows which notifications succeeded or failed, and failed ones can be resent. You can also pause notifications at any time.
Want to set this up? Webhooks are configured by your Smart 145 administrator. Because they connect to external systems, it usually helps to involve whoever manages the receiving system as well. Reach out to your administrator or the Smart 145 team to get started.
